Abstract

The field of feminist literary criticism, which seeks to analyze and reinterpret classic texts from a gender-conscious perspective. Through close reading and theoretical analysis, we explore how feminist scholars uncover and challenge patriarchal norms, stereotypes, and power dynamics embedded in literature. By examining the portrayal of female characters, the representation of gender roles, and the treatment of feminist themes such as agency, autonomy, and resistance, we illuminate the ways in which literature reflects and shapes societal attitudes towards gender. Our research aims to contribute to ongoing conversations about gender equality, representation, and social justice in literature and literary studies.
