Abstract

By improving productivity, communication, and decision-making, incorporating information technology (IT) into educational leadership and administration has completely changed how institutions function. According to this study, IT is revolutionizing leadership positions in education by facilitating data-driven decision-making, increasing stakeholder participation, and simplifying administrative procedures. This study identifies important IT tools like learning management systems (LMS), artificial intelligence (AI), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and cloud computing that are changing educational leadership through a review of previous research and case studies. The report also examines the obstacles institutions encounter when implementing IT-driven management systems, such as financial limitations, change aversion, and cybersecurity issues. According to research, implementing IT improves student results, strengthens institutional governance, and encourages innovation in education administration. However, strong leadership is necessary for successful execution, sufficient instruction, and well-thought-out policies. The study indicates that digital transformation is crucial for contemporary educational leadership to maximize management effectiveness and efficiency, highlighting the necessity of constant adaptation to changing technology.
