Abstract

The behavioural ecology of social insects, with a focus on ant colony dynamics and collective behavior. Through field observations and experimental manipulations, we investigate the roles of individual ants, division of labor, and communication mechanisms in colony organization and foraging strategies. Our research sheds light on the adaptive significance of sociality in ants and provides valuable insights into the evolution of cooperation and conflict in insect societies.
