Abstract

As Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to evolve, ethical considerations around privacy, accountability, and transparency are becoming increasingly important. This paper examines the ethical challenges posed by AI, focusing on the tension between innovation and privacy. We conducted a review of AI-driven applications in healthcare, finance, and social media, analyzing how they handle sensitive data and the potential risks to individual privacy. Our findings highlight the need for clearer regulatory frameworks to address issues of consent, data ownership, and algorithmic bias. The paper also explores the role of AI in decision-making processes and the ethical implications of automating complex human tasks. Recommendations include the development of AI-specific ethical guidelines and the establishment of oversight bodies to ensure responsible innovation.
