Abstract

The incorporation of Internet of Things (IoT) technology into healthcare systems has significantly transformed the process of collecting, monitoring, and analyzing patient data in recent years. The increasing prevalence of wearable devices, medical sensors, and advanced healthcare infrastructure has led to the continual generation of large volumes of multimedia data. This data offers significant insights into the health and well-being of patients. Nevertheless, the handling and administration of this data present notable obstacles, such as data security, privacy, scalability, and interoperability. In order to tackle these difficulties, there is an increasing inclination towards using blockchain technology in healthcare applications. Blockchain, a distributed and unchangeable record, presents a hopeful resolution for guaranteeing the accuracy, openness, and protection of data in Internet of Things (IoT) healthcare systems. By integrating blockchain technology into the data processing pipeline, healthcare companies may bolster confidence among stakeholders, limit the dangers of data manipulation, and boost the overall efficiency of data management. This research aims to simulate a hybrid architecture for processing multimedia data in the context of IoT healthcare. The research is exploring the use of Blockchain technology to enhance the security of multimedia data.
