Abstract

This research explores the challenges and opportunities of sustainable tourism development in coastal areas, where fragile ecosystems and local communities are often threatened by mass tourism. Through a review of best practices and case studies, we examine strategies for promoting responsible tourism practices that prioritize environmental conservation, cultural preservation, and socio-economic benefits for coastal communities. Our study aims to inform policymakers, industry stakeholders, and local residents on achieving a balance between tourism growth and environmental protection in coastal regions.
