Sustainable Tourism Development in Coastal Areas: Balancing Conservation and Economic Growth
Keywords:
Sustainable tourism, Coastal areas, Conservation, Economic growth, Environmental stewardshipAbstract
This research explores the challenges and opportunities of sustainable tourism development in coastal areas, where fragile ecosystems and local communities are often threatened by mass tourism. Through a review of best practices and case studies, we examine strategies for promoting responsible tourism practices that prioritize environmental conservation, cultural preservation, and socio-economic benefits for coastal communities. Our study aims to inform policymakers, industry stakeholders, and local residents on achieving a balance between tourism growth and environmental protection in coastal regions.
